The publication of the UK 2022 Chambers Guide has seen Irwin Mitchell once again build on its strong position in last year’s guide, while several individuals and departments have been recognised for the first time.
This year, the firm, which advises both individuals and businesses, has 51 ranked departments, with 23 teams ranked number one and 144 individually ranked lawyers, with 13 lawyers ranked for the first time.
The excellent results once again showcase the strength in depth and breadth across Irwin Mitchell’s teams.
For over 30 years, Chambers and Partners has been a key source of legal market intelligence, ranking both law firms and their lawyers. The guide covers over 70 specialist areas of law and is the trusted and reliable guide for those looking for legal services in the UK.
For the first time this year, the guide also includes an EDI (Equality, Diversity and Inclusion) Champions category, recognising lawyers who are contributing to making the world a fairer place. This new table sees Irwin Mitchell family lawyer Scott Halliday featured for his work with LGBT+ families.
The announcement of the latest Chambers rankings follows the publication of the Legal 500 UK 2023 guide in September, which saw 27 Irwin Mitchell teams with top tier rankings, several others moving up and 115 colleagues personally recommended 30 for the first time.
The Chambers results follow a further seven partners being named in the Spears 500 2022 directory.
