Have your say on proposed cycling and walking improvements between Crawley Town Centre and the Manor Royal Business Park
West Sussex County Council is proposing a series of cycling and walking improvements between Crawley Town Centre and Manor Royal, via Northgate Avenue. The aim of the proposals is to improve safety for people travelling on foot and by bike, and to help promote walking and cycling as healthy and viable travel choices. The Council is seeking feedback on the early-stage proposals and is inviting you to have your say.
Speaking about the proposals, Joy Dennis, West Sussex County Council’s Cabinet Member for Highways and Transport, said:
“We hope these high-quality proposals to deliver cycling and walking improvements will improve safety for all road users, encourage active/ sustainable travel choices and reduce congestion.
“I would encourage people to please let us know what they think of the proposals via the online survey.”
The public consultation launched on Tuesday 14 June and will be open for feedback until 11 July 2022. You are invited to complete an online survey on the proposed improvements, as well as joining one of our public consultation events, which will take place on:
Thursday 23 June, 12 noon- 2pm at Crawley Library, RH10 6HG
Wednesday 29 June, 5.30- 7.30pm at Hazelwick School, RH10 1SX
Feedback received during the consultation period will be used to help inform future decisions for the scheme.
