Crawley residents witness historic ceremony as Mayor reads out Proclamation of Accession

Crawley residents witnessed an historic moment outside of the Town Hall on Sunday, September 11.

Mayor Jilly Hart read the Proclamation of Accession at 2pm following the sad passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, formally declaring the accession of the new sovereign, King Charles III.
