About the event
Join Maggie and Sam for this free workshop where you can get a beginners guide to projection mapping. Projection mapping is the process of transforming static objects (like buildings) into painted canvases for video, bringing them to life by adding movement and extra dimensions while playing with visual effects and optical illusions.
There are two different ways to get involved in the workshop:
- One is a drop in for children and adults where you can use an iPad to draw around yourself and other objects and then project the images onto walls. For this one you can stay for as long as you like; 10 mins or1 hour, it’s up to you.
- The second element is available to 10 people only and will be a more in depth process over the 3 hours where you will learn how to projection map a part of the building you are in.
You can drop in on the day (ages 8+) but to take part in the full 3 hour experience (which is only available to 10 people) you must book in advance here.
